Blog 8 (December 16, 2016)

I have accomplished submitting my elevator pitch last Wednesday. Nothing went wrong but I asked Ms. San Nicolas the day before the due date of the elevator pitch, which is Wednesday, so that is a challenge for me because it is kinda rush but I was able to do it. I have learned through the process that it is better if I do things earlier even though without the help of my group mates when asking something to others. My skills improved by doing something by myself for the sake of my group and for us to complete the pitch and be able to submit it on the 14th of December. I am on track for an on-time delivery so there is no adjustments need to be made on the timeline. My next action is to practice my elevator pitch more and be ready.

Blog 7 (December 10, 2016)

I have accomplished finishing my elevator pitch but I still need to check and fix it with my group to check if we answered all of the questions regarding the pitch. Asking the average of the high school students gone wrong because my group and I wasn't able to ask last week so I decided to ask Ms. San Nicolas before the due date of the elevator pitch. One of the challenges that I have faced was about the pitch. Because without a lot of information, the pitch can not be done. But me and group mates did it even without the average yet. I have learned through the process that it is important to brainstorm and to ask others for their opinion and ideas because it makes the work easier. My skills improved this week by cooperating in doing the elevator pitch. I am on track for an on-time delivery so there is no adjustment needed on the timeline. My next action is to submit the video of the elevator pitch.

Blog 6 (December 3, 2016)

I have accomplished the empathy interview because my group and I just finished asking the questions this week. And also, I asked our new librarian regarding what books does the kids want to read and what they usually read when they read and act during Saturday at the Library. We didn't finish the elevator pitch yet because I still need to ask Ms. San Nicolas about the reading average of the students in Southern High School. That was a class hour so we were not able to ask her yesterday. That is one of the challenges I have faced with my group mates. I have learned through the process that team work is very important to accomplish what you really want to without worrying about this and that. I have improved my skills by working with my group mates and participating more when we talk and plan. I am on track for an on-time delivery so there is no adjustment needed on the timeline. My next action is to ask the average for our elevator pitch.

Blog 5 (November 26, 2016)

I have accomplished asking some kids about the books they want for the interview that we need for the elevator pitch. They said they like Peter Pan, The Frog Prince, etc. Sadly, we can not go in the library this thanksgiving break due to our different schedules and lack of communication regarding our planning about going in the Library because these past few days we've been focusing about the questions in the interview so that we can start with our speech for the elevator pitch. Those are also the challenges that I have faced in this week. I have learned through the process that it is important to plan ahead of the time so that I don't need to rush anything. I am still on track for an on-time delivery and there is no adjustment needed on the timeline. My next action is to plan with my group mates to go to the library to meet some kids there.

Blog 4 (November 18, 2016)

I have accomplished helping my group mates finish the empathy interview by making sure that I come out with some questions that I can include to the questions for the interview. This questions are important because these will help me know more details about the project and with these, I can start with my elevator pitch. Expressing myself and my ideas gone wrong. That is one of the challenges I faced because I have an idea but I can't really express it but I asked my group mates for help and they helped me. I have learned through the process that whenever you need help, you should ask somebody else for better understanding and so that you can improve yourself more. I am on track for an on-time delivery so there is no adjustment need to be made on the timeline. My next action is to ask the kids to answer the questions we did for the empathy interview.

Blog 3 (November 12, 2016)

I have accomplished creating questions with my group mates for the interview to know which kind of books the kids want to be read to them. School works and non school days gone wrong because I have a lot of works to do, as well as my group mates so I need to manage my time so I can go to the library for the interview with my group. One of the challenges adjusting because I have faced was planning which date is good for the group to go to the library because I have some plans too. Planning ahead of the time is what I learned through the process so that I don't need to hurry. My skills improved by communicating more with my group regarding this project to have a good results. I am on track for an on-time delivery so there is no adjustments need to be made on the timeline. My next action is to search and browse for costumes or see the kids in the library.

Blog 2 (November 3, 2016)

I have accomplished talking to my group mates about the next action that we will do, which is conducting empathy interview to know what age group and what book we should choose. Lack of communication and time gone wrong because of the non school days this week. Of course as a student, I also have other works to do like my AM, so as my group mates. Like what I said, one of the challenges that I have faced was adjusting to the schedule because the time that is given to us was short. I have improved my skills by asking for suggestions and opinions from other people and helping them when they need me too. I am on track for an on-time delivery so there is no adjustment needed to be made on the timeline. My next action is going to the library with my group mates for the interview and for the book choices.

Blog 1 (October 27, 2016)

I have accomplished planning the dates and place, where and when to read to the children with a twist with my group because we will read to them and act. Changing plans and ideas gone wrong because I need to think for a better plan and idea for the empathy interview and talk about it with my group mates. One of the challenges that I faced was deciding which day is perfect for going to the library to read and also which day I am available and ready for the upcoming reading with my group. I have learned through the process that it is important to seek help from the teacher to expand your ideas. My skills improved by understanding our project properly and be able to discuss and share it in front of our classmates. I am on track for an on-time delivery so there is no adjustments needed on the timeline. My next action is to create costume and to conduct empathy interview.
